Students do not require any previous experience in payroll, this 8 week course, available on demand, is perfect to kick start your payroll career.
Successfully completing the course will earn you the Payroll Centre Payroll Assistant Certificate in Basic Payroll Competence.
This qualification is perfect if you have little or no experience of current UK payroll practice. You may be completely new to payroll, returning to payroll after a break, providing absence cover, or HR or personnel staff providing advice to colleagues. This course will be an ideal introduction to the basics of UK tax and National Insurance calculations.
Upon successful completion of this course you will have an understanding of the principles, practicalities and basic payroll terminology required to be able to demonstrate basic calculations of tax, National Insurance and gross to net.
The course is built around 8 weekly modules for the student to complete. The course can be started on any of our monthly enrolment dates (first working Tuesday of each month)
