Increases to the Voluntary Living Wage (VLW) rates have been announced. Effective from November 2019, the London rate will increase by 20 pence to £10.75 per hour whilst the Outer London rate rises by 30 pence to £9.30 per hour. Employers who signed up to the VLW, must implement the increase within six months of the announcement of the rate increase.
Approximately 210,00 workers will benefit from the ‘cost of living’ wage rise.
