Four more HMRC manuals have transferred to the GOV.UK website from their old home on the HMRC website
, they are:
Employment Income Manual (EIM) Employee Tax Advantaged Share Scheme User Manual (ETASSUM)(new) Pensions Tax Manual (PTM) Scottish Taxpayer Technical Guidance (STTG) (new)As with all changes some issues were identified during testing, these include missing hyperlinks, formatting, including indented text bullet point lists and quotes. The issues were more notable when there was a combination of two styles.
Stakeholders were informed by HMRC that their first priority was to resolve and restore missing hyperlinks this has now had a fix successfully implemented.
HMRC were then turning their attention to the issues around formatting, the cause has been identified and they are now in the process of developing the solution and testing. As a result of these issues there could well be a delay in transferring other HMRC manuals to the GOV.UK website. It is hopes that a fix will ready to implement during this month (January).
For the interim, all previous versions of the manuals that were affected will be available on the old HMRC website.
