The Pensions Regulator (TPR) is taking action against the former director and majority shareholder of Retail Acquisitions Ltd, the company that purchased BHS, for failing to provide information during its investigation into the sale of the department store.

TPR issued Chappell with three notices under Section 72 of the Pensions Act 2004. These required him to pass information and documents to the regulator, which he failed to do.

Chappell has now been summoned to appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court to face the charges of neglecting or refusing to provide information and documents, without a reasonable excuse, under the Pensions Act 2004.

"I have chosen The Learn Centre both for my own knowledge base and in-house training courses for my teams for many years. I have always been extremely impressed with the content of the courses, people engagement and the positive feedback from my staff."
