The Payroll Giving Quality Mark is a government-supported accreditation which recognises and rewards organisations of all sizes for making payroll giving available to their employees.

Payroll Giving turned 30 this year, and to celebrate, the APGO is launching a Diamond Payroll Giving Quality Mark, available from 2018, to all those companies who have 30% or more employees giving from their pay. The Diamond Award will be officially unveiled at this year’s National Payroll Giving Excellence Awards in November.

Those who achieve this award will be the first to proudly display the new Diamond logo, there are a number of companies already on their way to achieving this.

In order to encourage a greater number of employers to put themselves forward for recognition, and increase Payroll Giving within their company the APGO is simplifying the criteria around their other Quality Mark awards.

The current levels are:

Standard – any employee participation Bronze – at least 1% employee participation Silver – at least 5% employee participation Gold – at least 10% employee participation plus the employer must either pay the Payroll Giving Agency administration charge, match donations or demonstrate that they have carried out an active promotion of Payroll Giving during the previous year.

Further information about the awards can be found here.

"I have attended many of The Learn Centre’s training courses in recent years. They are always of the highest professional standard and deliver updates on complicated HR and Payroll legislation, but in an easy to understand format. I would gladly recommend The Learn Centre to any potential client who is looking for HR & Payroll training courses, bespoke in-house training or expert advice."
