HMRC have published Real Time Information (RIM) artefacts, valid samples and supporting technical specifications for software developers which can be found here
Of particular interest is the Guidance on RTI data items from April 2016 which can be found here. This data grid sets out all of the data items and a brief explanation of the requirements for the fields to aid completion of an RTI submission.
