HMRC has confirmed that the new Starter Checklist will be published on GOV.UK on 6 March 2019 and will be based on the original baselined version.
On 12 February a printable version of the Starter Checklist for 2019 including Postgraduate Loan (PGL) information, was made available on GOV.UK which was then removed. This was reported to HMRC by various bodies in the payroll industry. Thanks, also, to many of our eagle-eyed clients who also spotted this.
HMRC provided an update explaining the issues that led to this.
Further to this we have now been assured by HMRC that the new Starter Checklist will be published on 6 March 2019, and will be available through the original link provided in the February Employer Bulletin.
