Following on from a previous article we wrote on this subject, a fast-expanding pub chain and craft brewery are giving their staff the opportunity to bond with their dogs through a Puppy Paternity Leave programme (PPL or perhaps APPL!)

The brewery are offering a week’s “paw-ternity” leave for any member of staff taking on a new dog.

The Aberdeen based brewery, with a bar in Cardiff, already has around 50 office based dogs and is keen to expand its love of our canine friends throughout its workforce, a number of whom have already enquired about the service. They have also extended the offering to its soon to open Ohio brewery.

The brewery was opened in 2007 and their two owners are often accompanied by their dogs Simcoe and Dr Gonzo!

What will be next – a Puppy Care Voucher Scheme? They’ll have to be quick as they only have until April 2018!

"I have used The Learn Centre on a number of occasions and have found it provides a great platform to gain the knowledge required to carry out my job. I started off with the Payroll Technician course and this in-depth learning gave me a great foundation of payroll knowledge to build upon and give me the confidence to progress up the career ladder, well worth it and would certainly recommend, no matter what level you are at there will be a course/qualification that can help you."
