HMRC have updated their system to support individuals and employers to assist in managing expectation by giving contacts the ability to check when they can expect a reply from HMRC.
This gives contacts the ability to find out when you can expect to receive a reply from HMRC to a query or request that’s been made through the use of a standard Gov “wizard” process. You can use this tool for queries or requests that have been made about:
- Income Tax
- Self Assessment
- tax credits
