The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) has published additional guidance on how to calculate holiday pay for workers whose hours and/or pay are not fixed.

The new guidance ‘Calculating holiday pay for workers without fixed hours or pay’ explains how to calculate statutory holiday pay for workers without fixed hours or fixed rates of pay.

The practical guide contains sections addressing specific questions employers might have, and complements the Holiday entitlement: the basic guidance, which explains how to calculate holiday pay for the majority of workers.

The guidance is suitable for both employers and workers.

"My team always attends the annual Payroll and HR Update course. Essential information covering often complex legislative changes, always presented by excellent trainers with in depth knowledge of their subject. A 'must attend' course for any serious payroll professional."
