HMRC have confirmed that future editions of the Employer Bulletin, as well as the Agent Update, will be in the HTML format on GOV.UK, following the 2018 Legislation Public Sector Bodies Accessibility Regulations. For the user / reader this means changes to how the media will look and be accessed.

  • The look of the Employer Bulletin will have changed and look like a GOV.UK page.
  • It will be fully accessible for anyone providing clear headings, full access for the visually impaired who may use screen readers and the links are more active to ensure that there is seamless journey to what you need to do.
  • There will still be the option to print the bulletin.
  • The writing style will be the same.

HMRC are looking for feedback on the new style and have confirmed also that a special edition Employer Bulletin on the UK Transition is due to be published today, Friday the 22nd of January.
