HMRC has published its Employer Bulletin for June 2019.
The Bulletin is published six times a year and offers employers and agents the latest information on topics and issues that may affect them.
The latest edition includes reminders about the upcoming P11D and P11D(b) deadline of 6 July 2019, and what employers need to file. It also has an update on the final part of the Making Tax Digital, Dynamic Coding exercise that went into a controlled go live environment in April this year with the introduction of the final in-year trigger.
Other topics covered include: Using loans to escape the Optional Remuneration rules; Student/Postgraduate Loan notices; Disguised Remuneration Loan Charge; GDPR and the annual data protection charge; How to help your employees make school holidays easier with Tax-Free Childcare; and how to quickly confirm National Insurance numbers.
The Employer Bulletin is only available online. You can register for HMRC’s employer email alert service to receive emails from HMRC that tell you when the latest issue is available.
