HMRC has updated its guidance to Send an Earlier Year Update using Basic PAYE Tools (BPT) for the tax year 2019 to 2020.
The guidance provides step-by-step help to send an Earlier Year Update if you currently use the BPT to operate payroll. It includes examples of the screens you will see in BPT and simple to follow instructions.
